DNR Public Hearing (1:30PM - 1:30PM)
DNR (Department of Natural Resources) public hearing on February 1 at 1:30 p.m. in the North Iowa Area Community College Muse Norris Conference Center, 500 College Drive, Mason City to take public comments on rules to enact legislation that prohibits farm operators from spreading liquid manure on frozen and snow covered ground between December 21 and April 1. Written comments on the rules can be handed in at the hearings or be submitted no later than 4 p.m. on Feb. 1 to Gene Tinker, DNR, 502 E. Ninth St, Des Moines, IA 50319 or gene.tinker@dnr.iowa.gov.
