Mixed Use: CMBA Studio/The United Center, Sioux City

1000 Friends of Iowa is pleased to give the CMBA Studio/The United Center the 2011 Best Development Award under the category of Best Mixed-Use.  The judges praised this project for the beauty of the rehabilitation of the building and the creative adaptive re-use of a building that might otherwise have been lost. They also noted the extra efforts made to follow best practices with regard to green building techniques.
