Leadership: City of Perry

1000 Friends of Iowa is pleased to give City of Perry the 2011 Best Development Award under the category of Leadership.  The judges praised the City of Perry for their many interconnected efforts to stabilize and strengthen the economy of Perry through use of smart growth principles. Any one of the intiatives/programs and projects listed in the City of Perry's nomination was worthy of praise, but the total package is deserving of the 2011 Leadership Award.
